Knowing your company just like knowing your products is key in keeping people interested and impressed.
Product Knowledge.- Knowing your product is what will sell or presude people to be interested. Knowing your product more well leave less room for questioning. Allowing the consumer to feel more confident in the product. If the consumer feels confident in the product and is in want or need of it, they will buy it with ease and pleasure.
Extras! - Taking initiaive to learn will give your boss a confident feeling that your there to perform some good wholesome hard work
Story time! - So when I first started at Guess Jeans, I was new and it had only been my second job. So I told myself learn everything about the store, become useful by knowing everything about your store. So I took my time out and had the assitant managers teach me all they could. Like how the folding should go, all the stats, how to check the stats, useful words/ways on how to sell better to customers, why some jeans are made better than others, etc. After about one week of doing this there was an annual store meeting. We did role playing, try on, and a sort of Jepordy. After the meeting was over the head manager of my store came up to me and said to me, "You know your stuff, I knew it was the right choice to hire you. Thanks for the hard work and keep it up you might move up quick around here if you keep that same attitude going." Then she winked at me and said, "Talk to ya later!" I gotta say that knowing my head manager is on my sid is great, because then I don't have to worry that I'm not doing my job effeciently enough. Now my manager comes to me asking if I need anything, or she needs anything done I'm usually the first person she'll ask because she knows that if I'm the one doing the tsk that'll it get done effectively.
